President Jane Peterer founded the Jane Peterer Music Corporation in 1993 after years of a highly successful career as Director of the Pick International record label and as a print music specialist in Switzerland. Since 1984, she has also served as the adminstrator of the Bridgeport Music Inc. catalog, which includes some of the most influential funk bands ever recorded.

The first offshoot of Jane Peterer Music Corporation to open was JPMC Books Inc. in 1999. JPMC Records was established a year later and its first release was Michael Ganian's "Ici Paris," an album that has remained one of JPMC Records' top sellers. Our current roster of artists includes Val Galaktionov, Kento Masuda, Brian Rodford, and Audrey Saint-Martin, as well as classic releases by Ganian and Claude Rippas and P. Ambros Koch.

The offices of Jane Peterer Music Corporation moved from New York City to the heart of beautiful downtown Burlington, Vermont in the fall of 2001.
